Chainsaw Carving is an inherently dangerous art / sport / entertainment form.
Chainsaws themselves are an extremely dangerous tool. Only an experienced chainsaw operator should attempt chainsaw carving and only under the supervision of an experienced chainsaw carver.
This doesn't mean that only a select few people will ever be capable of chainsaw carving , it is my belief that anyone who applies themselves will at some point be able to produce chainsaw art or chainsaw sculptures.
I do believe however that extreme caution should be used while in the learning process and beyond to not only ensure the safety of the budding artist but also to ensure the safety of bystanders.
